BOOSTING IMPACT
I am currently participating in the Boosting Impact: From Fact to Fiction Emerging Writers programme spearheaded by the European Writers Club, La Cité Européenne des Scénaristes and Le Groupe Ouest in association with MOIN film fund, AGADIC and Den Danske Film Institute and co-funded by the EU. At the Boosting Impact, she is mentored by the French writer/director Mehdi Ouahab (Anthracite, Thicker Than Water) and the French screenwriter Pierre-Gilles Stehr (Edmond & Lucy, Falco).
ELBE DOCK
I was one of six screenwriters chosen for the International ELBE DOCK Film Festival’s Film Inn Story Editing Workshop with ‚Fires Elsewhere‘, guided by industry mentors Anne Gensior and Gaia Meucci-Astley and later was one of two to advance into the Film Inn follow-up workshop.
OVEREXPOSED: LIVE READS
‘Fires Elsewhere’, a queer climate short film, was selected for the Messy Collective’s Overexposed: Live Read event. Each script is inventive, exciting and shines a light on the climate crisis through a unique and specific lens. These are the actors performing the work: Lola Knight, Jacquetta May, Michael Parr, Megan Prescott and Tosin Thompson.
